Surfachem are delighted to confirm their attendance at this year's Wooden Spoon Luncheon being held at the Queens Hotel, Leeds on Friday 18th December.
This most prestigious of venues has played host to the ' Spooners' since the early 1990's. The Wooden Spoon is a childrens charity founded in 1983 and is dedicated to helping underprivileged children and young people all over the UK and Ireland.
Surfachem's 15 plus years association with the Wooden Spoon Society confirms the value we place on supporting this most worthwhile of charities , both on a local and national level.

The company appointed Mark O’Connor as Pharmaceutical Manager, formerly Account Manager for Ireland with Surfachem to head its expanding Pharmaceutical business. The Pharmaceutical industry is earmarked as a significant growth area for the company and Mark’s key responsibilities will include further developing Surfachem's relationships with the UK and Ireland's Pharmaceutical Customers, expanding our Excipient and API business at these accounts and working to assist our customers' R&D departments in developing new projects.
Storme Delaney joined Surfachem on 28th September 2009 as Account Manager for Ireland. Storme has over 6 years experience in the Chemical Industry and prior to joining Surfachem was an Account Manager for a distributor of Speciality and Industrial Chemicals, where she sold a broad range of raw materials from sodium hypochlorite for water treatment to building blocks intermediates for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Storme is looking forward to promoting Surfachem's specialist products and building up relationships with technical and the team at Leeds to commercialise these ranges.
Surfachem will be at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry for the SCS Formulate show on the 18th and 19th of November 2009. We will be sharing our stand, stand 412, with Lubrizol Advanced Materials.
We'd be delighted to see any visitors on the stand. Our technical staff will be on hand to take you through any formulation questions you have and to take you through our focus products including our latest development of botanical extracts from Symrise Life Essentials.
