Do Surfachem charge for delivery?

UK and Ireland

For standard deliveries within the UK and Ireland there are no extra charges, the price you are quoted is the delivered price.

International business

Contact the international sales team for pricing details regarding our global delivery terms.

 

Do Surfachem charge for pallets and packaging?

No, Surfachem does not charge or require a deposit to be paid for any pallets and packaging.

 

What pack sizes are available?

Our pack sizes vary depending on product and can be flexible to meet customer requirements.

The majority of the materials available from Surfachem are available in multiples of c. 25kg, 200L ,1000L. 1 and 5kg are available for colours.

 

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

No, we have no set minimum order quantity. We will usually happily accept orders for individual quantities of the smallest packsize available for each product.

 

What is your standard delivery time?

Within the UK and Ireland

For a product that is in stock standard delivery to the UK and Ireland is usually within three working days.

International business

Can you do next day delivery?

This is possible in most instances within the UK and Ireland if the product is in stock and an order is placed before 12.00pm.

 

Can I try a material?

Yes, we have a sampling service available for all our customers.

 

How do I set up an account?

If you would like to set up an account with Surfachem please contact our UK or Export sales teams.

 

What payment methods are available?

Surfachem's preferred form of receipt is bank transfer (BACS/Chaps) but we are able to accept cheques / cash.  We will also look to utilise various alternative banking receipt methods dependant on the geographical area and nature of the business (ie Letters of Credit, Cash against Documents etc)

 

Where do Surfachem operate globally?

We export to over 90 countries around the world including; Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australasia, Far East, South/Central/North America.

New for 2012, we have a sales team based in Poland.

 

Can you match a product specification?

Our technical team are happy to analyse specifications to see if Surfachem can provide an alternative material.

 

Can you source chemicals?

We have a highly trained team offering sourcing and supplier rationalisation programmes.

 

Can Surfachem supply other chemical products that are not on the website?

Yes, the majority of our products are advertised on our website but if you cannot find what you are looking for please contact us.

 

Do you supply fragrances?

Yes, in early 2013 Surfachem began distributing fragrances for Givaudan in the UK and Eire.

 

Can Surfachem help with my formulation problems?

Yes, we have a dedicated technical team who are happy to help with formulations issues and problem solving.

Surfachem has a large team of graduate chemists who provide expertise from a wide range of backgrounds and experience.

 

Are you able to make a formulation for me?

No, Surfachem does not currently offer any contract formulation services.

We do have an extensive series of example formulations on our website to help our customers when formulating.

 

Do you have a laboratory?

We are in the final stages of setting up a new laboratory facility near our head office in Leeds, England.

This laboratory will be used to develop new ways to use our products and to provide customers with new and exciting recipes to try.

 

Can Surfachem supply fully formulated products?

Most of the materials available from Surfachem are ingredients but we do supply many fully formulated concentrates and ready to use products.

 

Do your products have any specific handling and storage requirements?

All chemicals are different and have to be handled accordingly. All Surfachem products are supplied with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which outlines the health and safety precautions and storage recommendations.
