Surfachem participated from Feb 29th to March 1st to the H3i exhibition and invited on their stand 3 of their principals namely Lubrizol, Novozymes Biologicals and Novozymes Enzymes.
This was the first year for the 2 days H3i exhibition. H3i (Household, Industrial and Institutional Ingredients) is designed to offer a platform specifically for Household I&I manufacturers and their products.
The venue for this year was the National Motorcycle Museum Exhibition Centre in Birmingham which is centrally located for most UK travellers and immediately next to Birmingham International Airport for visitors from further afield. Bearing in mind this was its first year, the exhibition appeared to be well supported by exhibitors and visitors alike. Over two days, visitors could find the ingredients, formulations, expert advice and new contacts to help create innovative cleaning products to meet current and future needs.
In addition to the exhibition BACS (British Association for Chemical Specialities), also organised industry seminars & exhibitor presentations all which seemed well attended.
The 2 days were generally busy throughout with slight lulls while conference goers attended the seminars & presentations. It was also interesting to note how much busier the stand was immediately after the 4 presentations given by Surfachem and their principals.
Tony Bartolini, Novozymes Cleaning Solutions Technical Service did a lecture on Thursday to promote the Beneficial Microorganisms Technology. if you missed the Novozymes’ lecture, click here to see the presentation.
Based on the interest of the visitors and the success of this first exhibition, we have already decided to participate next year.
