Sheffield Pharma Ingredients has developed a flavour modulator capable of targeting the sweet and bitter receptors of the tongue.  It is therefore capable of masking bitter tasting APIs to achieve a pleasant tasting drug delivery vehicle which cannot be achieved by overpowering the API bitterness with sweetners alone.  This product is also suitable for use in OTC tablets, sachets and syrups and can also be used in conjunction with the freeze dried fruit and vegetable flavours.
