Blemish Balm Creams Spot the difference

Originating in Germany in the 1960’s blemish balms (BB) were formulated to soothe and cover reddened, inflamed skin resulting from laser surgery.
Decades later a boom in Asian markets driven by Korean celebrity endorsed products utilised BB creams as light foundations or primers to produce “air-brushed” like complexions and even skin tones.
Today European markets have come full circle offering more mainstream blemish balms incorporating multiple consumer benefits such as anti-inflammatory, skin lightening, moisturising, SPF and anti-aging actives.
Surfachem's Principal supplier, Evonik Industries, offer W/O and O/W based cream formulations* containing the following skin care active ingredients.
Phytosphingosine - Reduce redness and inflamed skin
TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 - Mattifying properties and reduced tackiness
TEGO® Pep 4-17 - Skin lightening Tyrosinase inhibitor for an even, brighter skin tone
