Neodol 9-7 -
A new alcohol ethoxylate from Shell Chemicals that combines fast wetting and high cleaning efficiency with easy handling
The new Neodol 9-7 from Shell Chemicals can help you meet your needs in formulating effective cleaning products. An alcohol ethoxylate, Neodol 9-7 has an average carbon chain length of 9 and is ethoxylated with an average 7 moles of ethylene oxide.
Structurally this means Neodol 9-7 is very similar to the established Shell products Neodol 91-8 and Neodol 91-6. As illustrated in the below tables Neodol 9-7 has two key properties.
- High surfactant properties similar to Neodol 91-8 including high cloud point, high foaming, good water solubility.
- Easy handling, with a low cloud point and moderate viscosity Neodol 9-7 is easy to work with.
