Product Name - Surfawax SW/BP
Product Overview - Surfawax SW/BP is a self emulsifying wax based on cetostearyl alcohol and sodium lauryl sulphate, used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical ointments and creams. Surfawax SW/BP complies with the 2009 British and European Pharmacopoeia, incorporating the requirements of the 6th edition of the European Pharmacopoeia as amended by Supplements 6.1 and 6.2 for Emulsifying Cetostearyl Alcohol (Type B).
